Windows Storage Server 2008

WSS08と略せばいいのか・・？
とりあえずStarwindを抜いてWindows Server+iSCSI+MSFC検証したい時のiSCSI target候補No.1の座に躍り出そうなWSS08、Technet/MSDN経由でしか手に入らないのが広く一般向けとは言い難いのが当面の難点だが覚えて置いて損は無いかねと思いダウンロード。

いっちょ前にBasic/Standard/Enterprise/Workgroupといったエディションが用意されているのだけど、違いは何ぞ？と調べてみても日本語では情報が出てこない。
MSの人のBlogにそれっぽい事が書いてあって、iSCSI Target使いたいんだったらEnterprise選択してね？とのこと。

If you're an MSDN or TechNet Plus subscribers, you have access to all editions and you should select the Enterprise Edition (available only as x64), which will provide you with all the WSS features.

（追記）あー・・なるほど、こりゃパスワード探すの手間取るわ。略称はWSS2008が正しいようで。
